Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga the quiet practice.

In Yin Yoga we don’t aim to warm the muscles but to work on the connective tissues around the joints of our body, safely stressing and regenerating these tissues to improve our flexibility, stability, mobility and strength. Our slower meditative practice also enhances our psychological health as well as our physical health.

Yin Yoga restores and maintains the natural mobility of the joints, by safely stressing the deep layers of the connective tissues of our joints. This meditative practice emphasises stillness and silence, Yin Yoga prepares both the mind for meditation and the physical and energetic body for other yoga practice, sport, athletics, running, gymnastics etc. Poses are held for a longer duration up to several minutes. Yin can really help with mobility, flexibility and stability.

Aerial Yin Yoga is a fusion of aerial yoga and yin yoga that is practised in the hammock instead of on the mat. Its a relatively new concept and I have developed aerial yin asanas that you can practice in the hammock and achieve a wonderful physical, psychological and spiritual results.

You can check out some aerial yin fusion on my YouTube Channel Love Aerial Yoga straight away and start gaining the benefits of this quiet practice. You can try it out now by following the link below to a beginner aerial yin class.
